Pirate soccer squad improves to 11-0 in district

The Pittsburg Pirate soccer team improved to 11-0 in District 13-4A last week with a 3-1 win at Chapel Hill to set up a district championship showdown against visiting Sulphur Springs on Tuesday, March. 3. The Pirates and Wildcats battled to a 1-1 draw in the first meeting with Pittsburg winning a shootout, 4-2. Sulphur Springs stands at 10-1 in league play and 17-5-1 overall.
