On Wednesday, May 6, at noon, in the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, the Rotary Club held their weekly meeting. President Dixon began with announcements.
Pittsburg Golden Chick owners Mike and Jan Jensen present $1,000 scholarship checks to Addison Hill, headed to NTCC, Nursing program, and to Kalvin Ham, headed to UNT, Accounting program. Mr Jenson said both students are hard-working, humble, with GPAs over 4.5, and we are doing this because, as good stewards of the money God gives us to work with, this is part of what good stewards should do.
