Pittsburg’s cross-country program had much to celebrate last week as five of the program’s six teams celebrated district titles.
After a big Homecoming win and a bye week, the Pittsburg Pirates were hoping to kick off district play with a win Friday at North Lamar.
The NTCC Culinary Arts Program recently hosted the Eagles Softball team at the culinary arts school in downtown Pittsburg for a team-building event. Chef Anthony Nelson, Director of the Culinary Arts Program, shared information about nutrition and how it can affect the performance of athletes. Team members also worked together to prepare a healthy meal of smoothies and omelets. This is just one great example of NTCC programs collaborating and sharing knowledge! Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo made the long trip to Uvalde, Texas for the second NIRA Southern Region Rodeo of the season hosted by Southwest Texas Junior College.
