High school football season is finally here! If you are from anywhere in East Texas, I am sure you have your team shirts, noisemakers, cowbells, and whatever else you see fit ready to cheer your team on each Friday night ready to go!
He was so upset that fateful Sunday morning. The Ol’ Devil had been busy, creating heartache and emotional injury in his small East Texas town. So the young pastor had decided that it was time to preach against that wily serpent. High time somebody exposed who was causing such turmoil.
I look forward to the day sometime way in the distant future (most likely in July, on a Thursday, in the year 2040) when our present will be nothing more than a hazy passing dream, and I’ll sit down to read all about the historical events that happened right under our noses while we were out watching chickens cross the road.
