Opinions

The first time I ate sushi

During the Cold War, so called, the country of Chile, which is a long strip of land running for hundreds of miles along the west coast of South America hemmed in by the Andes mountains on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west was a prime target for takeover by the communists. Some people I worked for were very interested in it because of its strategic importance in Latin America. The Chile political system wavered. The U S government was anxious. So one day I found myself in Santiago, the capital.

But, wait

But, wait

I know there is a lot of anxiety around right now. From wearing masks, to not wearing masks, from home school, virtual learning, and in-person classes to fighting allergies and nagging coughs that are not COVID-19 related. I get it: we are all anxious about SOMETHING right now.
