The ‘what ifs’ not taken

The ‘what ifs’ not taken

The other morning as I was standing in front of my house watching Venus look over the moon’s left shoulder, I thought about all the circumstances that brought me to this one place and moment in time; and I imagined in what ways my life might have been different if I had “gone for it” instead of hesitated; said yes instead of saying no; or continued straight ahead till morning instead of turning left at the first decision that crossed my path.

The Scratching Post

Hey, all you cool cats and kittens! Things have been better for me lately. More of my humans are at the office, and one of them even took me home for a weekend sleepover! I had lots of fun at her house knocking over vases and camping out on her face, but man am I tired. Today, I think I’ll just hang out and lay on top of the warm computer. I haven’t had many visitors lately. Oliver doesn’t come around anymore, and the humans who used to come in just to see me have been busy, I guess. Oh, well... Maybe I will have more visitors next week. Until then, I think it’s time for a cat nap. If you see me napping in the front window, paws your trip and come see me!
