So, I have been hearing my humans talk an awful lot about something called “fall.” They are all talking about how much they are ready for it to be here and everything. Now, I may just be a simple cat, but I have had my own experiences with “fall,” and I am really confused why they are excited about it. Hopefully, you’ve already fertilized even if using organic fertilizer, which may take up to thirty days before releasing nutrients. You don’t want a heavy growth surge interrupted by a frost. Then, unless there are a lot of rains, continue watering. The grass will appreciate it, and your trees will love it. Come winter, your grass will be dormant. Tree roots, however, will not. They’ll need water & fertilizer and will appreciate both, now and especially in January.
