The Lions Club met Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at noon at the NTCC campus, here in Pittsburg, for the regular weekly meeting. President Mary Collins introduced the guest speaker, Katie Smith, Director of Texas Lions Camp. Katie shared that The Lions Camp, consisting of 550 acres, located in Kerrville, Texas, has expanded its campers this coming 2026 summer to include not only children who are blind, handicapped, have cancer, type I diabetes, and downs syndrome, but now have added autistic children. There are even camping facilities and activities for those families who attend with their child. Ms Smith stated that the enrollment fills up quickly.
