On Saturday, November 1, the Northeast Texas Rural Heritage Museum held a chili cook-off as a fundraiser. The museum, rich in Camp County history, is in need of funds for repairs as well as regular maintenance and upkeep.

At the regular monthly American Legion Post 422 meeting on October 27, Commander Frank Harrison was presented with an honorary award, “The State of Texas Admiral in the Texas Navy” from Texas Governor Abbot.
The Pittsburg Lions Club heard from Christine Jackson, a volunteer with Camp County Christmas for Kids. She serves as the fundraising and event chair for the non-profit.
