As the holidays fast approach, I have found myself thinking a lot about traditions. From trees, to decorating, even down to what we eat at the holidays, traditions abound for many of us during the holiday season.

One December, I helped a homeless man get set up in a campsite among other homeless folks. I purchased food, and another person had a tent to go with the blankets in the trunk of my car. So at the path, my friend and I helped the man set up his makeshift home, where he promptly disappeared inside, surrounded by layers of blankets.
The world is freaking out over omicron. Countries are closing their borders. The media is in a frenzy. People are panicking.
The state’s Public Utility Commission last week lowered the maximum allowable wholesale price for electricity by almost half, from $9,000 per megawatt hour to $5,000. The move came after prices soared to the max
So, the holidays are officially in full swing and I am already getting that lovely feeling I seem to get every year. No, I am not talking about the warm, fuzzy feeling that comes with Christmas lights and carols. Nope, I am talking more about that lovely, grinchy feeling that has come, for some, to be synonymous with the holidays.
