Where does your help come from?
Whenever certain events happen in someone’s life, people will try to comfort them in any way they can. But even well-meaning words of consolation can create even more pain. For example, the well-intentioned words “I understand” feel empty if the speaker has never actually experienced the situation. It’s good to have friends, family and a church that can help you in times of uncertainty, discouragement, and pain. But be careful who you listen to. Someone might say something that makes things worse.
Priefert Manufacturing receives SWEPCO Evergreen Award
MT. PLEASANT, TX - On Tuesday, February 18, Priefert Manufacturing received the Evergreen Award from SWEPCO Texas Commercial Solutions for their continued commitment to implement influential energy efficient measures. George LePoris presented the award to Eddie Priefert and Nate Priefert. Several employees were present for the presentation. A plaque acknowledging the award will be on display in the main office.

With the scare of the Coronavirus sweeping the nation, many people have forgotten about a more threatening virus for our country: influenza. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), around 8,200 people have died from the flu this season and over 140,000 have been hospitalized. An even more frightening estimation of 15 million people have been diagnosed with the flu so far in this 2019-2020 season. Most of the southern states have even been reported as having high flu activity within the past week alone.
