Miner awarded Paul Harris Fellow
Rotary Club of Pittsburg awarded Gloria Miner the Paul Harris Fellow award this week. Miner is a 2021 graduate of Pittsburg High School. She was very active in the Interact Club at PHS.

Farmer’s Market dates are July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Events begin at 9 a.m. and last until sellout. At noon, there will be an Innovative Farmer Tips class. Tim and Heather Williams are a young couple who, in their short time in the area, are already having a big effect in the community. The Williams’ got married in May of 2020, and Tim moved to Pittsburg a month later to be with his wife.
Northeast Texas Community College hosted its first EagleGanza freshman experience on Tuesday, June 29. Around 50 students participated in the action-packed event that gives incoming freshmen a chance to explore the NTCC campus, learn about programs and clubs, meet with advisors and even register for classes. “We were so pleased with how our inaugural EagleGanza turned out. Our goal is to make our incoming students feel comfortable on our campus and confident going into their first semester. It is a great way for them to make new friends, get to know our faculty and staff and learn about the many opportunities they have here at NTCC,” Kim Irvin, Dean of Enrollment Management said.
Please join The Pittsburg Camp County Chamber of Commerce along with one of our Chamber Board Members, Dr. Jennifer Broers, for the Grand Opening of Piney Woods Animal Clinic on July 10th at 10:30. There will be food, drinks, a dunk tank, and entertainment.
