Community Spotlight: Tim and Heather Williams

Tim and Heather Williams are a young couple who, in their short time in the area, are already having a big effect in the community. The Williams’ got married in May of 2020, and Tim moved to Pittsburg a month later to be with his wife.

Tim Williams currently works as the director of Baptist Student Ministries at Northeast Texas Community College after having served as the interim director last semester. He previously worked as an insurance agent at the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in Mount Pleasant. Heather Williams works as the Children’s Minister for First Baptist Church of Pittsburg, a role she’s had since 2017.

When asked how Tim felt about working in the community, he said, “We love it! We’re doing what God has called us to do.” Williams describes himself as, “just a regular person with a passion to serve.”
