Pittsburg Kiwanis Club provides dental hygiene kits

The Pittsburg Kiwanis Club presented the first graders (190) at the Primary School with dental hygiene kits. The kits included coloring books, crayons, and toothbrushes donated my Dr. Larry J. Richardson. These were accepted by the following people (left to right): Laurie Smith, Director of Health Services, Terry Waldrep, Superintendent, Jackie English, President, Pittsburg Kiwanis Club, Jyl Wood, Principal Kiwanis Club meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at noon at Anvil Brewing. Lions finish month-long service project

The Pittsburg Lions Club took on a month-long service project of collecting items for the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center’s needs closet. Items like hygiene products, blankets, coloring books, stickers, small toys, and of course a big box of stuffed lions. NTCC Business Club raises money for good causes

The NTCC Business Club worked tirelessly over the fall and spring semesters to raise funds to support the needs of college students and others in the surrounding community. As a result of those efforts, the club recently made donations to three great causes.

Live Event On June 5 At Barefoot Bay To Spread Hope & Help Charity

On Saturday, June 5, enjoy an epic musical event for a cause with COVID-19 precautions in place at Barefoot Bay RV Resort & Marina (5244 Pistol Mill Road, Pittsburg). Suitable for all ages, the event will feature live music, Wannabe Rockstar Karaoke, a live auction, raffles, and more to benefit the nonprofit Help Hope Live.
