This week, my friend Oliver came to visit, and he told me that he just graduated puppy training. It seems weird to me that humans train dogs and cats train humans, but I guess it’s however they like to see it. Anyway, Oliver and I are getting along a little better now. I have figured out how to jump on top of the wall to get away from him when he becomes a pest, and he has learned to shut up every now and then.

TYLER, Texas, July 7, 2020 – Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) is extending its discount programs through Aug. 4, 2020 for senior citizens and critical and emergency service providers in all four of its banners – Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, Spring Market and FRESH by Brookshire’s. BGC has offered both discount programs for more than 13 weeks and has been able to save discount recipients more than $10.4 million during this difficult time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Camp County. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services for Joshua Searcy, 37, of Pittsburg, were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Steve Seaman and Eugene Stone officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements were under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Searcy passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at his residence.
