30 YEARS AGO: Youth Center was at the corner of Reynolds and Cypress Streets. Don Henley played there with a band named Four Speeds in late 1960s. He now is a member of the Eagles. The building later became an agriculture facility used by the school district.
Some squirrels must fall
Friday of last week, as I was walking off that last row of Double-Stuf Oreo cookies my brain assured me would be of no consequence to finish off, I saw a squirrel jump from one tree limb to another above the road – and miss.
