SEARCY

Funeral services for Joshua Searcy, 37, of Pittsburg, were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Steve Seaman and Eugene Stone officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements were under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Searcy passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Searcy was born July 7, 1983, in Mt. Pleasant to Tommy and Teresa Bradley Searcy. He was a lifetime resident of Camp County.

He is survived by his father, Tommy Searcy and stepmother, Clara of Pittsburg; brother, Colton Searcy of Pittsburg; sisters, Misty Hunter of Pittsburg, Jennifer Grigsby and husband, Lance of Mt. Pleasant and Keeley Ratliff and husband, Deek of Pittsburg; maternal grandmother, Joyce Bradley; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Searcy; paternal grandmother, Nell Searcy; maternal grandfather, Jim Bradley; brother, Dustin Young; and niece, Suzanna Grigsby.

Pallbearers will be Tracey Crouch, Nathan Liles, Robbie Miller, Casey Hefner, Ronnie Club, and Terry Lee.

Honorable pallbearers will be Ancel Lamm and Arlene Julian.

No formal visitation was scheduled.
