Pittsburg, Texas – Pittsburg Main Street has been designated as a 2020 Accredited Main Street America™ program. Accredited status is Main Street America’s top tier of recognition. It signifies a demonstrated commitment to comprehensive commercial district revitalization and a proven track record of successfully applying the Main Street Approach™.
A golf tournament was hosted by the Princedale Ladies’ Golf Association for Tonette Harrel on Saturday, Oct.10. The winning team was Kathy Carpenter, Bryan Zachry, Robert Brummel, and Bryce Burns. There were about 60 golfers that teed off at 10 a.m. and played all afternoon. Several honorary players paid and kept Harrel company at the clubhouse.
The 14th annual Honors Northeast Roundup occurred again this fall, 12 September, amidst an initial screening, social distancing, and individualized servings.
Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative Corp. (URECC) recognizes the challenges schools are facing due to the pandemic and has donated $12,500 to Pittsburg ISD. The funds will be used in the purchase of chromebooks. Please extend your gratitude to URECC for helping our students. The NTCC Adult Education Department offers both in a variety of convenient formats. In addition to traditional face-to-face classes at locations around the area, NTCC Adult Education also offers live remote and self-paced online options.
