Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is battling back against seven top aides who accuse him of bribery and abuse of office.
The City of Pittsburg has created a Pittsburg Parks Master Plan to illustrate the renovation of parks throughout the city. The point of the renovation is to ensure that visitors have more recreational opportunities when visiting the parks. The City staff focused on the main elements that the park needed when updated. These elements consisted of creating high-quality parks for Pittsburg residents while maintaining the parks that the city already has and marketing the recreation activities that the parks hold to entice visitors. The city will be providing safety and availability within the park, having the project growth meet the demands of health, safety, and welfare of residents, as well as focusing on the economic growth and benefits of the park.
With the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and its spread, many voters may have concerns regarding the safety of voting in person. In an effort to help mitigate the spread of the virus, Texas Secretary of State Ruth Hughs is urging participation in early voting.
