What’s in your toolbox?
Rumor has it that Sue married Roger for his Craftsman toolbox. That rumor, like most, contains a smidgeon of truth. His wise mother, single-parenting two sons, introduced them to good, strong men who taught both boys how to use, maintain, and purchase tools. One son heard the lessons and went back to the bowling alley, bridge, and math problems. The younger son listened, learned, and applied. He slowly built up his toolbox. Most tools back then had “Craftsman” stamped prominently in red; that was a sign of quality. Today, the “Craftsman” name means something different, so his newer tools come from Ryobi.
