Pittsburg does the Spring Clean

As done in previous years, the City of Pittsburg, Code Enforcement division, initiated a Spring Free Clean Up last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. At the Transfer Station off of FM 1520, on CR 2212, for free, they took household furniture, batteries, paint, computers, refrigerators, and sundries. For a small fee they took tires of all sizes. The only things they could not take were tube type TVs and monitors, and the compressors that were in refrigerators. The only requirement was that you bring proof of living within the city limits. The city employee the Gazette talked to said that folks had been steadily bringing items.
