“Celebrating the Past, Empowering the Future” NTCC celebrates 40 years

Northeast Texas Community College has been furthering education since 1985, and the college hosted its 40th Anniversary Picnic on October 4 at the NTCC campus in Mount Pleasant. The celebration featured live music, free food and food trucks, pickleball and cornhole tournaments, a car show, face painting, and more.

Holiday festivities approved by commissioners

The Camp County Commissioners held their regularly scheduled meeting and heard from Niecy Baum, the Community Development Director for the City of Pittsburg. She presented to the commissioners regarding the upcoming Home for the Holidays on December 6. In order for enough time to set up and take down the event, Baum requests street closure from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the event that will occur from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
