Every year at the beginning of the school year, the Pittsburg Rotary Club organizes a teacher appreciation event to show the educators and faculty how much the community cares. On August 12, Pittsburg Independent School District teachers and staff were honored with breakfast and the chance to win door prizes. Over $18,000 worth of donations in the form of cash or prizes were collected from local businesses and individuals.

NTCC Foundation receives $1,500 for Nita DeWoody Memorial Scholarship

Christi Denney and her daughters, Clara and Adelyn, recently presented $1,500 to support the Nita DeWoody Memorial Scholarship fund. The fund provides two scholarships for non-traditional students.
