4-H week recognized by commissioners

The Camp County Commissioners heard a presentation by the Camp County 4-H Club members on the importance of 4-H in Camp County. Many of the club’s officers were present at the meeting, including the 2025-2026 president, Reagan Lowe. She expresses that 4-H is important to her, “Because it has given me so much confidence and knowledge.”

THLN to host “Unleash Change” event

The Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN) is an organization with many chapters throughout the state with the mission is to utilize legislation, education, and advocacy to promote the humane treatment of animals. According to the organization’s website, “Since 1975, THLN has solidified itself as the only Texas- based mainstream organization that follows no national agenda, only what’s good for Texas and its animals.”
