With the new changes implemented at school for the health of the students and staff, this week’s Looking Back Column will showcase a simpler time. There has been talk by many states that closing schools would be best after the rise in COVID. This photo portrays a happy class at Pittsburg ISD many years before the virus was heard of. Many of these students now have grandchildren or great-grandchildren going through these difficult times. Let’s all view this photo, not only as a remembrance of the past but as hope for the future.
