Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo was back in the saddle this weekend to start off the 2021 semester with a Rodeo hosted by Texas A&M University Commerce. The event was held at the Hopkins County Civic Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Pittsburg went to their first-ever veterinary competitions and was able to bring home a win. The students scored ninth out of 50 teams at the competition. The students that participated were Anna Uribe, Tearzy Ibarra, Dylan Kruze, Nathan Lambkin, Jose Vazquez and Jose Ventura.

The City of Pittsburg saw a raise in its Economic Growth in the year 2020. Due to the Pandemic, more residents shopped locally and supported their community. According to data released by the City of Pittsburg, because of the efforts of Pittsburg citizens, the percentage of sales growth went up 14.8 percent. And with the IRS expecting more than 150 million returns this year, BBB reminds consumers to be on the lookout for emails, text messages, and phone calls from those posing as IRS agents.
