UT Health Tyler and UT Health North Campus Tyler maintained an ‘A’ rating and UT Health Henderson received its first ‘A’ in the fall 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction recognizing the hospitals’ achievements protecting patients from harm and error in the hospital.

Several years ago, I wrote an article on Stevia, a no calorie sweetener that had none of the potential side effects of other no calorie sweeteners. Now, there’s a new product out that you might want to consider. It’s called Monk fruit. So far, the only product I’ve seen is a combination of both stevia and monk fruit, and again, it’s a no calorie sweetener. The combined sweetener is made by the Whole Earth Sweetener Company. The product consists of natural occurring substances whereas most other no-calorie sweeteners are man-made. Other “natural” sweeteners, such as fructose corn syrup are linked to obesity and tooth decay.
