Pittsburg Elementary hosted several veterans and parents as the 3rd grade sang the songs of America in honor of Veterans Day. Their repertoire included, “The Star-Spangled Banner”, This Land Is My Land”, and “God Bless the USA” among others. Following the Region D Water Planning Group meeting on November 10, this letter was sent to the Region C water planners in the Dallas area. The city council accepted a Texas Forest Service grant for fire apparatus. This grant was submitted in 2013, but because of issues outside the city’s control, the grant had not been approved by the state until recently.
