Camp County budget development for 2021

Camp County has revised their budget development for 2021 to focus on the needs of the residents. The county focused on three main issues that needed to be addressed in the next year’s budget. The primary focus was the amount of funding towards the road system that could be increased from 2020. The funding is not only to better the quality but to also create safer roads. The road system was the county’s main priority because of the feedback received from their constituents. The focus will be primarily on the condition of the roads, which translates into safety. “Each budget year, the plan is to increase the amount of funding directly in road maintenance,” said County Judge A.J. Mason. “This way, the commissioners have as many resources as possible to address the quality of the roadways.”
