The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team followed up the home Rodeo with a trip to South Louisiana to the McNeese State University Rodeo in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 29-30.
The Pittsburg Pirates not only closed the regular season with a hefty dose of momentum, the Pirates will return to the playoffs in the midst of a winning streak.
Pittsburg high school competed in the Regionals Cross Country Meet at Grand Prairie on Oct. 25. The boys team finished in 13th place with Jacob Berryhill, 11th grade, placing sixth at 16:31.6. Pittsburg’s Lady Pirates varsity team (no picture) finished fifth in district (18-22, 2-8) in volleyball this year. Their final game was Oct. 26 when they faced North Lamar and lost 3-0.
