Mrs. Judy Hood, age 71, of Leesburg, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Winnsboro. She was born March 27, 1951 to Harvey and Peggy Holmes Davis in Winnsboro, Texas.
NTCC receives $12,000 from US Tennis Association
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $12,000 donation from the United States Tennis Association. Dr. Ron Clinton (left), NTCC President, Jimmy Smith, Coordinator of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Executive Vice President for Advancement, are pictured receiving the check. The gift will be used to upgrade NTCC’s tennis courts and provide scholarships for local youth to participate in the 2023 Kids Discovery College. City Attorney Mike Setty retires after 44 years of serving Pittsburg
Michael P. “Mike” Setty started working for the City of Pittsburg in 1978 as city attorney. Though the city had previously worked with an attorney from Mt. Pleasant, it was preferred to find someone more local if that were possible.
