NTCC Funeral Service Program granted seven-year reaccreditation

Northeast Texas Community College recently received notification that its Funeral Service program has been granted a seven-year reaccreditation with the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE). This makes NTCC one of only four accredited funeral service education programs in the state of Texas. Students who graduate from the program with an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree in Funeral Services are eligible to sit for their National Board Exams in both funeral directing and embalming.

SpringFest set at NTCC for April 21-23

NTCC students and faculty are working persistently to prepare the Sustainable Market Garden for the 3rd annual Springfest set for April 21-23rd. “In response and celebration of National Ag Week, we are delighted to open our gates and share our farm with the community in hopes to instigate an appreciation for farming.” said Director Rene’ McCracken. “While we cannot hope to have a “perfect” farm we do strive to provide a living example of what is possible for small farm operators.”
