I’ve often imagined Jesus with a permanent red mark on his forehead in the shape of a hand. For example, when Nicodemus went to visit him at night in John chapter three, Jesus told him, “No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
JoAnn Bates has recently retired and was honored by the executive board at the March 8th board meeting. Mrs. Bates has served our museum as a Docent and Facilities Manager at the Farmstead location since 2012. A certificate of appreciation and a gift certificate were presented to Mrs. Bates. She loved her job, was very dedicated and loved our museum visitors. No doubt, she will definitely be missed by many. After the presentation, everyone enjoyed cake and conversation with her.
