Lady Pirates compete in basketball tournament
Daingerfield native Vernetta Castleberry hosted a book signing at New Birth Baptist Church in Lone Star on Saturday. Castleberry has published several books on Amazon, her two most popular ones being ‘Love Doesn’t have to Hurt - Learn to Love Again’ and ‘Sis, Stop Sleeping; It’s only an Illusion’. Both books feature indepth discussions about the trauma of painful relationships, healing from abuse, and self-love.
Blair MacBeath moved here in 1980 to open a family medical practice. He came here from Prince Edward Island in Canada. Many considered him to be legendary in medical practice for Camp County.
