Commissioners discuss new jail facility

The Camp County Commissioners held their regular meeting, and there was much to discuss regarding the new Camp County Jail’s recent inspection. County Judge AJ Mason shared that the jail passed inspection, and now the “out of towners” who were previously in jails in other counties are now in the new jail facility.

Pittsburg is set to take a nostalgic journey back in time with a grand ceremony to unveil a time capsule buried 50 years ago. This highly anticipated event will take place at noon on Saturday, September 21st on the southwest corner of the Camp County Courthouse lawn, following the Pioneer Days Parade.
