City Attorney Mike Setty retires after 44 years of serving Pittsburg

Michael P. “Mike” Setty started working for the City of Pittsburg in 1978 as city attorney. Though the city had previously worked with an attorney from Mt. Pleasant, it was preferred to find someone more local if that were possible.
Purple Hearts Home Health moves downtown

Purple Hearts Home Health enjoyed their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on December 9 on Jefferson Street in downtown Pittsburg. Purple Hearts is a home care agency for the elderly that provides nursing, and various therapies including, physical, occupational, and speech, as well as medical social work and home health aide services and educating of patients.
