O ur Summer Reading Program sign-ups begin Monday, June 1st and ends July 10th. We recommend signing up as soon as possible, to be able to reach your reading goal. Our first program will be June 4th @2pm. “Beyond the Skies” refers to the professional platform of Chelsea Burnett, a Texas-based public speaker and storm chaser who presents on both weather-related topics and personal life challenges. She is recognized for her work in STEM education and motivational speaking, including a 2022 Trailblazer Award.
Its 5 O’Clock Somewhere
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5 O’Clock, the Pittsburg Rotary Club met for drinks, dinner, and conversation in Madeline’s Cafe, an upscale eatery at 111 Quitman Street, Pittsburg. The occasion drew a number of Club members who showed their appreciation for the Samoan-influenced cuisine by complimenting the restaurant owner, Salina Dollinger. Rotarians in attendance were Scot Dollinger, Salina’s husband, Rusty Dill, Carolyn Franks, Sabin Warrick, Roni Arias, Woody and Karen Ray, Judy Hamilton, Perry and Diane Wilson, Janet Barns, Debbie Graham, Ian and Witka Griffin, Melanie Bruehl, Reese DeWoody, Stacey McMahan and Elizabeth, and Marina Garcia-Heredia.
