NETMWD approves stricter policies on public comments during board meetings

During a regular meeting on Monday, April 28, the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District (NETMWD) approved a policy change in regards to public comments during their board meetings, dictating that the board will not tolerate any disruption or comments outside of public comments and that there will be an allotted time limit during the public comments part of the meetings.

Last Saturday, Pittsburg was home to the Annual Texas Hot Link Festival. Hundreds attended the event and were able to experience live music, a cornhole tournament, hot link contests, craft and food vendors, and so much more. This festival also saw the return of many popular events, such as the Car Show and Writer’s Block.
