This weekend on Saturday, June 21, the Northeast Texas Writers Organization (NETWO) will host their yearly workshop at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC), and this time, they’re bringing in the love with their theme ‘It’s All About Romance!’.
When you’re able to walk on your own two feet, you may not give much thought to how vital a ramp might be for others. But the volunteers for the Texas Ramp Project of Titus County have seen firsthand how the ramps they build for people have changed lives and brought tears of joy.
A severe storm in Camp County has resulted in fatality. On Sunday, June 8, the Camp County Sheriff’s Office, aided by local fire and EMS, responded to a call just before midnight in the 3000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 556. They found two individuals trapped inside a single-wide mobile home that had been cut in two parts by fallen trees.
