Camp County Commissioners approve donations

The Camp County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 25. At the meeting, the commissioners heard from a citizen during time for public comment. He expressed concerns regarding overgrown weeds along Farm to Market roads 2412, 2416, 2415, and 2452. He also shared his concerns regarding the need to fix pot holes and the solutions that have occurred as of late have only been temporary.

Lions bestow pin to Johns Family

At a recent meeting of the Pittsburg Lions Club, members presented a 20 year pin to the family of Sarah Johns, who was a devoted Lion and committed to serving the community. Johns’s son, Wade Johns, and daughter, Casie Johns Yantis, were at the meeting and received the pin in their mother’s honor.
