It is a little funny sometimes what influences me to write this piece here in this space, but for the last two weeks I was influenced by the headline on the Edward Jones column that was underneath in our sister paper over in Bowie County. This week’s EJ column was about helping our grandkids financially, and it piqued my interest.

Ms. Ollie Belle Bynum, age 85, of Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Pittsburg. She was born December 23, 1935 to Clarence and Lois Craig Brockway in New Hope, Alabama.
