Convention of States for Senate District One will be meeting in DeKalb, Texas at the Front Street Junction Restaurant on Oct. 9 from 11 am to 1 pm. The guest speaker will be John Van Compernolle; he will be discussing the original intent of the Constitution from the Founders’ viewpoint, and how it applies to our lives today. Convention of States is a non-profit organization without party affiliations and welcomes all Americans who are interested learning about Article V of the U.S. Constitution, and how to utilize it to rein in the federal government
