Christmas carols drawn from Isaiah’s prophecy of the birth of Christ inspired designs for two of 33 trees on display during the Carols in the Park exhibit this year. An event that occurs only every other year, Carols in the Park was a wonderful success, inviting people from around the region to enjoy a relaxing walk through a forest brilliantly decorated Christmas trees.

Pittsburg FFA delivers Christmas cheer

The PISD high school student officers of the Future Farmers of America delivered Christmas cheer to the ladies and gentlemen of Pittsburg Nursing Center. During their annual Christmas party, the FFA collects donations and then the officers of the club have the pleasure of delivering them. All of them have been involved for at least two or three years; this marks Jacob Lindley’s fourth year.
