This site marks the birthplace of Pilgrim’s Pride and the beginning of the modern chicken industry in Northeast Texas. On October 2, 1946 Aubrey E. Pilgrim acquired Farmer’s Feed and Seed Company and was joined as a partner soon thereafter by his brother, Lonnie “Bo” Pilgrim.

Sometimes we need professional help. I have been doing this for many years. Don’t play with suicidal thoughts. Seek council. Call me. Call a friend. Call a doctor. Get off unprescribed drugs. Get on the prescribed, if needed. I can’t tell you more any stronger. God’s help first came to me in a mental institution.
