The Pittsburg Pirate baseball team is living up to their team motto this season, finding themselves in a “battle” for a playoff spot in a district where even the defending state champions can find themselves in a dogfight.
The Pittsburg Rodeo had its humble beginnings in 1961, when the Pittsburg band boosters needed new uniforms and used the rodeo to raise the needed funds.
