Pilgrim Bank donates

Pilgrim Bank donates to Habitat for Humanity for East Texas Giving Day

Pilgrim Bank celebrated East Texas Giving Day a little early with the presentation of $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity. Because Habitat for Humanity has qualified for matching funds, this amount will be doubled. Funds raised are being used to complete a home for a local school employee and her family. Pictured are Ronda Burns of Pilgrim Bank and Gene Baxter of Habitat for Humanity. Both were recipients of awards at the recent Chamber of Commerce Banquet with Burns receiving the Drucilla Pruitt Memorial Woman of the Year Award, and Baxter receiving the Volunteer of the Year Award.
