The Commissioners are preparing to garner the materials necessary for the summer job of repairing county roads. The Commissioner’s Court awarded all the bids submitted for Camp County Road Materials during their regular meeting on May 18. Multiple options will allow them to utilize the best option for a given project as needed.
The Pittsburg High School 2022 Graduation of 165 seniors took place on May 20. The sun was setting that evening on a closing chapter of these student’s lives, while a new and blank page was being opened before them to write upon it what they will.
The Camp County Retired School Personnel Scholarships of 2022 were presented to Sydney Smith and Pryce Parker on May 19.
The 6th Grade Band, under the direction of Danny Bishop, competed at the Soundpost Music Festival in Canton on May 16, receiving a First Division Rating from all three judges on their music selections of “Thunder Rock” by Josuweit, and “Mechanical Monsters” by Standridge.
