Members of the Northeast Texas Community College Carroll Shelby Automotive Program hosted a chili cook off on January 11, the 100th anniversary of Shelby’s birthday.
Each January, it is customary to set a New Year’s Resolution. Some of these resolutions include losing weight and are usually accompanied by eating more salads and doing more exercise. Some others include spending more time with the family, or doing more in the community.
A march took place down Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 16.
The Pittsburg City Council met in general session on January 9 and approved an agreement between the City of Pittsburg iWorQ Systems Inc. for services and software to aid in faster processing of data for an annual fee of $4,800.
