Mr. Marc McDaniel grew up in Daingerfield, Texas where he graduated from the Daingerfield - Lone Star Independent School District in 1969 and earned a football scholarship to Rice University. Pittsburg Lions Club treated the staff and residents of Southern Wind Manor to a surprise ice cream sundae bar last week. Lion President, Sandy Thompson, and former Lion President, Judy Jackson, delivered 5 gallons of ice cream, along with an array of toppings, cones, and edible bowls to choose from.
A few years back, I wrote an article on the benefits of putting a whole banana in the hole before putting in a tomato transplant. Its nutrients are helpful to the plant, and I still use bananas for that purpose.
