2024 Peach Queen announced
On May 14 the Peach Queen Association announced the 2024 Peach Queen, Emily Janway, and her court. The Coronation is on September 18, 2024, at the Pittsburg High School Auditorium and it begins at 7:00 p.m.
School board members sworn in
The Pittsburg Independent School District School Board met on May 23 for the last meeting of the 2023-2024 school year. Board members Greg Miller, Christian Yantis, and Mario Willis pledged an oath of office. After a brief voting process, the school board elected Dr. Greg Miller for President, Christian Yantis as Vice President, and Brian Perry for Secretary.
Class of 2024 reflects and looks to the future
On May 24, the Pittsburg ISD graduating Class of 2024 walked the stage to receive their diplomas, tossed their caps, and turned their tassels as they looked forward to their new futures.
